Good vibes only

One side of our living room didn’t have much purpose and the wall was very boring, I just had to do something about it. Now it has become a pleasant new working area for me, with a bright, happy quote painted on the wall. I made a sketch first, then worked the sketch out in Procreate on the Ipad. Using a projector I could trace the lettering with chalk on the wall after which I painted everything bit by bit.

In case you’re wondering why the desk consists of two different colors: those drawers come from two separate desks we used to have and we wanted to reuse them rather than buying something new. We did add more storage area, a (kitchen) counter and a pull out tray to finish it. I’ve got some cool ideas to upcycle the desk to make it look more unique (because… IKEA), but that might be a project for another time!
